About Us

Hi! My name is Teri and this is my mom Lee. Let me tell you a little about myself: I have a degree in Textile design from Rhode Island School of Design and worked for a large corporation designing baby bedding and accessories. I got a bit tired of the corporate life and sending designs to be made in China so I decided to start my own little company. My Mom is also very creative and talented so it was a natural fit to start the business with her.

We started Up~Chuckies with a desire to find fun and funky gifts for new families. We like to say that the new Mommy and Daddy were once fun people. Now they are fun parents. We design gifts that reflect a sense of humor and a joy for life, but maintain that every new baby should be spoiled with luxury!

Now I have a daughter named Marley who is the light and joy of my life. I also found out how wonderful our burp cloths and bibs are thanks to some serious newborn acid reflux! Marley has also become our muse. We are constantly designing new products and characters to delight her and make her giggle!
