Chuckie Cares

Giving back is very important to us here at Up~Chuckies. We support Project Linus by making blankies for kids in need. Here is the mission statement from www.projectlinus.org:

Project Linus is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization with a two-fold mission:
First, it is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."
Second, it is our mission to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

We have made a bunch of blankies and will continue to do so. In addition, we are donating 10% of the proceeds of every blankie we sell at UpChuckies.com to Project Linus. We are also committed to helping the environment. We limit paper whenever possible but use 100% recycled paper when necessary. All of our packaging is recycled, recyclable or biodegradable. We are also transitioning to recycled postcards and hang tags that are printed with soy and vegetable inks. If you need business cards, etc, check out www.greenerprinter.com.
